| NPS exhibit bases were used for years as the standard for the National Park Service. Although a new standard has been recently adopted, these handsome exhibit bases still stand the test of time. This system works great in any environment for a wide range of applications including wayfinding, information, orientation and interpretive signage.
This system incorporates the use of aluminum extrusions that form the frame for the graphics panel, aluminum plate for support and a variety of aluminum tube sizes for the legs. The signs are shipped disassembled (for ease of shipping and to keep costs to a minimum) with all necessary hardware and complete instructions for installation.
The graphic panel is typically 1/8" Digital High Pressure Laminate (DHPL) or Vitratek Porcelain Enamel, although virtually any sign material can be used in thicknesses ranging from flat to 5/32".
Although the NPS system is designed around a number of standard sizes, custom sizes are also available for an additional fee on a per job basis.
