Porcelain Enamel was the chosen media for the interpretive sign program at Angel Island in San Francisco Bay. These simple but effective signs interpret the colorful history of Angel Island, including the U.S. Marine's use of Ayala Bay as a Quarantine Station in the late 1800's, as a military defense position, and more recently, as a Nike Missile Site.
