Location: Yosemite National Park, California
Designer: KVO Industries / Beverly Hennessey
Working closely with Beverly Hennessey of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, KVO designed, fabricated and installed several interpretive exhibits at the O'Shaughnessy Dam on the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in Yosemite National Park. Due to the harsh elements and remote location, porcelain enamel and Corten weathering steel were the materials of choice for the interpretive exhibits, while a substanital log structure was used to support the large wayfinding signage.
"Thanks so much for the wonderful job you did on the installation at O'Shaughnessy Dam. It was a lot of fun working with you and you obviously know your stuff. People are very impressed with both the design and the manufacturing of the exhibits."
